Who's really at fault, Adam or Eve?

This is another hub in reasponse to a question - here whether Adam or Eve was more responsible for original sin. Several have commented that this is just a story, and since most people don't take the Bible literally it really shouldn't matter, but there are 2 major consequences of propagating this story, even as a parable.
First, there's the basic problem of a malign god who keeps his creation ignorant, and sets up a rule whose only basis is to tempt those clay-based beings.
Second, and more important it sets woman in to a submissive role

The tree of the knowledge of good and bad was not just a fruit tree, that is so unimportant, it was a test of loyalty, Eve did tell Adam what she had been told by the serpant, the Devil, he, Adam, should have corrected her, told her to leave it alone, IT BELONGS TO JEHOVAH GOD.

, The major blame is on Adam for listening to Eve despite the instruction that God gave them. As the head, he is purpose to ask questions and if possible discipline Eve for disobeying the instruction of the creator.

While an unpopular view, God gave man the headship and responsibility for the family...think division of labor as opposed to man being somehow better than woman. Adam was ultimately responsible for not listening to God and urging Eve to do the same.

God created Adam as the head of the household. Adam failed to PROTECT Eve...........she succumbed to temptation, he followed and then HE blamed her. Women have been paying the price ever since.

Eve was at fault she spoke so much to Satan that she forgot she was married, Adam was her husband, so she believed the little snake to be telling the truth. So in her lack of wisdom she ate the Devils words for breakfast, and she thought, how will I get Adam to submit to me, so off she went and enticed her husband into believing in her over what God had warned them not to do.Look at us today woman chatting till the cows come home and still doing what their mother Eve was doing. Adam still wishing he never listened to his wife.

All things were cool before Eve couldn't recall what God said. So the Devil knew how to con her, check and see she says completely different to what God said can understand why Paul tells woman to shut up

I think God would have let them stay in the garden, but both of them blamed someone else. If they would have admitted they each did what they did, they'd probably still be there.
Eve said the devil made her do it and Adam said Eve made him do it. Sound familiar? You hear someone doing this all the time.
