Coriolanus
Corioli was an ancient Volscian city in Latium captured, in 493 BC, Gaius Marcius Coriolanus Disgusted by his treatment by his countrymen, Coriolanus deserted to the enemy Volscians and re-took the city for them. The actual site of Corioli even in the time of Pliny the Elder was unknown and listed as one of the lost citiesof Latium.
